點餐英文怎麼開口？為什麼不說 I want a coffee

點餐用 Can I get…?、I'll have… 或 I'd like… 最自然；I want a latte. 文法沒錯，但聽起來很直接，Give me a latte. 更像在下命令。

標「聽」的是店員會說的話，標「說」的是你可以照著說的回答；✗ 是常見的錯誤說法，△ 是聽得懂但不自然的說法。點英文旁邊的按鈕，可以聽發音。

    I want a latte. 或 Give me a latte. 聽起來有點衝，說 Can I get…? 或 I'll have… 比較自然。

  • a 還是 an？

    ✓Can I get an iced latte?

    可以給我一杯冰拿鐵嗎？

    ✓Can I get a large iced latte?

    可以給我一杯大杯冰拿鐵嗎？

    a 還是 an，看後面第一個字的發音：iced 是母音開頭，所以是 an iced latte；前面多了 large，就變成 a large iced latte。

熱的還是冰的：Hot or iced?

冰的飲料是 iced，不是 ice：被問 Hot or iced? 就回答 Iced, please.；只說 Ice, please. 聽起來像在要冰塊。

    冰拿鐵是 an iced latte，冰咖啡是 an iced coffee。少冰是 less ice，去冰是 no ice，跟在台灣點手搖飲時用的說法一樣。很多國外的咖啡店不會像台灣的手搖飲店那樣問你甜度冰塊，想要少冰就自己說。

大杯、中杯、小杯英文：What size would you like?

尺寸直接說 Small, please.、Medium, please. 或 Large, please. 就好；大杯是 large，不是 big cup，也不用說 large cup size。

店員問 Card or cash?，刷卡就說 Card, please. 或 By card.，付現說 Cash.；不要照中文說 Swipe card.。

走進餐廳說 A table for two, please.（兩位，謝謝），點菜用 I'll have…，吃完要買單就說 Can we get the check, please?。

    不要照中文的順序說成 Two people table。有訂位的話，就報訂位的名字。

    我對花生過敏。

    allergic 前面要有 I'm，後面接 to：I'm allergic to peanuts.，不說 I allergic peanuts.。
